LIVE MARKETS

We are Times of Trading, a financial markets publication that covers forex, equities, crypto, commodities, bonds, and indices along with the regulation and policy developments that influence them.

The publication was launched in mid-2026 as a multi-asset trading publication for readers who want market news and analysis without having to jump between different specialist websites. Our coverage follows the markets themselves, which include currencies, stocks, digital assets, commodities, fixed income, and major benchmarks, with regulation cutting across each of these areas.

Our audience includes individual traders as well as professionals who work across the trading industry. Whether you are following a central bank decision, watching a stock move after earnings, tracking a commodity market, or trying to understand a regulatory change, our aim is to explain what happened, why it matters, and what the market is watching for next.

We are published by VAP Group, a global consulting and media company whose portfolio includes Times of Trading and other specialist media brands.

What We Cover

Our coverage is built around six core asset classes, supported by regulatory and market-structure reporting.

Forex:

Equities:

Crypto:

Commodities:

Bonds:

Indices:

Regulation:

Regulation sits across all these markets. We follow policy decisions, regulatory proposals, enforcement actions, and other developments that can affect traders, brokers, exchanges, financial firms, and other market participants.

This cross-asset approach is also reflected in our association with the Global Trading Show, a multi-asset trading event set to debut on 15-16 December 2026 at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.

Who We Write For

We write for people who actively follow financial markets, but not everyone approaches the market in the same way.

Our readers include retail traders, day traders, swing traders, brokers and introducing brokers (IBs), prop firm traders and institutional market professionals.

Some readers come to us for a quick update before a trading session. Others want more context around a central bank decision, an earnings announcement, a regulatory development, or a major market move.

This is why we try to keep our reporting straightforward. Financial markets can be complicated enough without the writing making them harder to understand.

Our Editorial Team

Our articles carry named authors and editors so readers can see who is responsible for the work they are reading.

Amitesh Dhar (Managing Editor)

Amitesh Dhar is an Editor at Times of Trading with experience in digital publishing and content creation. Amitesh has followed global financial markets, digital assets, and emerging technologies for several years and previously held editorial positions at CharlieIntel and Sportskeeda. His roles include reviewing and editing market coverage to ensure that the articles are clearly structured and accessible.

Sahil Mahadik (Market Analyst and Technical Analysis Writer)

Sahil Mahadik is a cryptocurrency market analyst and technical analysis writer at Times of Trading. Sahil has more than three years of experience analysing digital assets and traditional financial markets. His work focuses on price movements, market cycles, and technical analysis, including support and resistance, moving averages, and the Relative Strength Index (RSI)

Our wider team includes writers covering different areas of the financial markets. Their published profiles reflect a range of interests and backgrounds, from market reporting and technical analysis to broader financial and economic coverage.

We believe that naming the people behind our journalism matters. Readers should be able to see who wrote and edited an article rather than encountering anonymous content.

How We Work – Our Editorial Standards

Good financial journalism starts with getting the basic facts right. We identify the author and, where applicable, the editor responsible for an article. Published Times of Trading articles show both the writer and editor on relevant stories, giving readers visibility into the editorial process.

We prefer primary sources wherever they are available. Depending on the story, this can include company announcements, regulatory documents, government publications, central banks, exchanges, official market data, and statements from the organizations directly involved.

We distinguish between confirmed information and expectations. When something has not yet been confirmed, we aim to say so and not present speculation as fact.

For market-sensitive reporting, numbers, dates, prices, and other factual details are checked against reliable sources before publication. We also consider the wider context of a development rather than presenting an isolated market move without explanation.

Our editorial process is separate from commercial interests. Advertising, sponsorship, and partnership do not determine the conclusions reached in editorial coverage.

For broker and trading platform reviews, reviewers open and fund a real account before writing. Account opening, funding, fees, execution, and platform functionality are assessed through direct use rather than promotional material.

If we discover a material error after publication, we correct it visibly. Corrections are added to the article with the date and an explanation of what changed. We do not silently rewrite the record. No contributor publishes directly to the site. Every article passes through editorial review before publication.

Our full approach is explained in our Editorial Policy
